Airshow 2005 Wonderboom
The
flag is, certainly the largest SA flag to be jumped.
It was constructed by Aerodyne Sytems with fabric
from Galvenor Textiles. The flag measures 18m
X 27m for a total area of 5234 square feet. The
packed weight is about 80kg including the 35kg
weight on the bottom. The flag is flown under
a 400 sq foot tandem canopy and has a 16' pulled
apex round recovery chute in case of a cut-away.
When deployed it decends at about 1200' per minute.
